Oud - Strings of my soul
Πρόκειται για προσωπικές συνθέσεις, που επιμελήθηκα ο ίδιος την ενορχήστρωση, κάνοντας και την μίξη του ήχου. Το μάστερ του ήχου έγινε απο τον Κώστα Γκίτσης ( Metric Sound Studio ). Είναι αποτέλεσμα δουλειάς 4-5 χρόνων, λόγω του ότι ήθελα να παρουσιάσω κάτι διαφορετικό απο τα σημερινά δεδομένα και έτσι πειραματίστηκα πολύ στην ενορχήστρωση των μουσικών οργάνων και του ήχου. Τα όργανα που χρησιμοποίησα είναι το ούτι, σαν κύριο σολιστικό όργανο, και το συνδίασα με παραδοσιακά και σύγχρονα όργανα, όπως τα Νταρμπουκα, Νευ, θρακική γκάϊντα, ποντιακή λύρα, κρητική λύρα, κανονάκι, φλογέρα, κρητικό λαούτο, θρακιώτικο λαούτο, νταούλ, βιολιά, μπάσο και διάφορες κιθάρες. I composed arranged and prepared the mixing by myself. Sound mastering was done by Costas Gitsis (Metric Sound Studio). It took me almost 4-5 years to finish this record because I wanted to present something innovating and satisfactory so I had to experiment with different arrangements, techniques of instruments and sounds. Instruments being used are mainly Oud, as a soloistic instrument combined with traditional as well as modern instruments as percussion, ney, thracian bagpipe, pontic lyra, gretan lyra, kanun, penny whistle, gretan lute, thracian lute, davul, violins, bass, as well as a lot of rhythm guitars.
